Large corporations usually prefer holding executive team building activities aboard private yacht charters. This is because aboard the yacht, participants are drawn away from the busy atmosphere of the fast lane life in the city and drawn into a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere where they can focus more, not on paperwork and corporate duties, but on making friends and establishing teamwork.
You don’t have to charter a luxury yacht for an executive team building unless your guests lists consists department heads, business partners, and prospect clients who you wish to impress. A regular crewed yacht charter may be enough with the size that can accommodate the number of guests you intend to invite onboard. Charter yachts differ in prices depending on the size of the vessel, its amenities and the crew present onboard. Crewed yachts with a chef and maid cost more than those chartered yachts without them. Of course in charter yachts that don’t have a chef and maids onboard would mean that guests will have to cook their own food and make their own beds but such tasks can add up to the fun in your corporate team building cruise. You can opt to assign individuals to do certain tasks such as cooking for the day, arranging the tables, washing the dishes and more. With members working with each other in doing the little tasks assigned to them, teamwork will be established and the outcome can be advantageous to the company.
Even though your main intention in chartering a private yacht for a corporate team building activity is for the benefit of your business, you should not forget that it is also for fun. Thus, it is also important to make sure that your guests will enjoy the trip.
